主要从事转基因作物及其产品生物安全,蛋白质标准物质研制等研究。
主要研究方向是作物功能基因组学与农业大数据分析。通过开发计算生物学分析工具,整合基因组学、转录组学、表型组学、代谢组等多组学数据,鉴定品质、耐逆性等重要农艺性状的遗传结构与调控网络,开发分子标记辅助育种。

在Genome Research, Genome Biology, Plant Biotechnology Journal,The Plant Journal等国际主流刊物上发表发表SCI论文17篇,其中第一作者文章7篇,累计影响因子129;授权国际专利1项;育成玉米品种1个。
