主要研究领域为:1、毕赤酵母代谢调控机制 ;2、微生物高效表达系统挖掘及应用 。曾主持一项国家自然科学基金项目(冷休克蛋白调控腾冲嗜热厌氧杆菌冷应激反应的机制《32100072》)、参加十二五863 课题(基因组多位点快速进化与改良《2012AA022105》)和国家自然科学基金项目《链霉菌次级代谢产物生物合成中重要调控基因作用的分子机制》。主持国家自然基金面上项目(食品级毕赤酵母鼠李糖诱导系统高效表达机制的研究《31671802》)(2016-2020)
